To establish and sustain an Organizational Development and Change function for (the organization) that supports the goal of establishing the Human Capital of the organization as a critical lever in accomplishing business goals.

Job Summary: 
The OD Director plans, develops, implements and administers Human Capital Management programs for company associates. This position is responsible for development and integration of change programs and associated projects to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives.
This position will partner with leadership across the business and key partners to ensure successful rollouts with utilization of all company tools. The OD Director reports to the VP of Human Capital Management and works directly with the Senior Executives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•         Drives the understanding of the vision and strategic direction of the company to all associates.
•         Builds and leads the annual employee engagement (ASI) survey.
•         Drives employee engagement pulse surveys and action planning throughout the year.
•         Responsible for internal communication throughout the company, primary focused on Human Capital initiatives.
•         Designs and develops HCM training programs for management and associates.
•         Builds and leads the performance management process for the company.
•         Provides expertise in process planning and supports the execution of the operating plan.
•         Identifies potential issues, project changes, and scope of work for all impacted parties.
•         Responsible for the selection, development and maintenance of technologies to support initiatives.
•         Collaborates with cross functional teams and business leaders to prepare integrated plans for the rollout and adoption of new strategies, initiatives, technologies, and improvement processes supporting the company vision.
•         Provides coaching, facilitation, team development, whole systems analysis, process reengineering and organization development services in consultation with executive leaders and senior managers to implement organization improvement initiatives and assure alignment with the organization’s strategic plans.
•         Manages the work of outside consultants when used.
•         Report metrics, predictive analytics and outcomes of OD and Change initiatives to executive leadership.  Recommend course corrections when necessary. 
•         Ability to establish and maintain credibility, and work effectively within all levels of the organization.
•         Experience in developing strategies and communication around complex organizational change initiatives
•         Experience in group facilitation, coaching and leading teams/organizations and delivering process changes
•         Demonstrated expertise in the areas of developing high performing teams, and the tools/resources utilized in assessing and coaching team performance
•         Experience in engagement surveys, performance and talent management
•         Experience in instructional design and facilitation
•         Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
•         Ability to establish and maintain strong peer and superior relationships; Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
•         Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
•         Ability to manage concurrent projects and effectively track and report on milestones and deliverables to leadership
•         Effectively communicate with executive leadership to prioritize the training approach
•         Exceptional planning and organizational skills
•         Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others to move towards a common goal or vision
•         Must collaboratively work with all levels of management at the corporate and store level
•         Flexibility and adaptability in ambiguous and changing environments
•         Strong organizational and analytical skills, including planning strategy, problem solving and root cause identification
•         Effectively work through others in the organization to succeed. 
•         Minimum of 10 years’ experience with demonstrated success in orchestrating organizational
•         development and change is required.
•         Knowledge of and experience in leading edge methods and approaches to creating sustainable
•         competitive advantage through Human Capital Management (Succession Planning, Top Grading,
•         Strategy Deployment, Employee Engagement, etc).
•         Experience in the design and conduct of Organizational Development interventions such as team
•         building, workshops etc. is required.
•         Bachelor’s degree required, Masters or Doctorate in a related field preferred.
•         Additional education or certifications in the following fields are preferred: OD, Business
•         Management, Training or related disciplines.
•         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required
•         Technology savvy and current on business trends
Minimum Qualifications:
•         Strong understanding of Automotive Retail environment with minimum of 2-years’ experience in automotive sales role.
•         Strong documentation, OD and instructional design experience, minimum 5-years’ experience.
•         Experience as a trainer, preferably in automotive retail.
