Job Description

As a Shuttle Driver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our customers' experience by providing safe and efficient transportation. You will be responsible for transporting customers to and from the dealership, ensuring a smooth and pleasant journey.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Valet vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as required.
  • Drive customers to their residences or places of business and retrieve them post-vehicle repair.
  • Perform sweeping, mopping, and cleaning duties in service areas, including driveways, sidewalks, the lunchroom, and technician stalls.
  • Utilize floor machines for specific cleaning tasks.
  • Clean and maintain bathrooms, restocking paper supplies as necessary.
  • Empty and sanitize all trash receptacles, both interior and exterior.
  • Clean oil storage tanks, drains, and appropriately dispose of oil filters.
  • Assist technicians in managing oil and water spills and emptying drain tubs.
  • Assist passengers entering and exiting vehicles, maintaining a prompt and efficient shuttle route.
  • Operate radio or a similar device to communicate with the dealership or other vehicles, promptly reporting any service disruptions.
  • Maintain a detailed record of trips, including passenger names and destinations/pick-up points.
  • Notify the dispatcher or service manager of any required servicing for the shuttle vehicle, such as oil changes, tire rotations, cleaning, and general maintenance.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Physically able to drive and move vehicles
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership’s professional appearance
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have Experience)

  • Previous experience in a similar role (shuttle driver/transporter)
  • Excellent guest experience
