Job Description

Northwest Motorsport is searching for an experienced, educated, and self-motivated Social Media Manager to spearhead Northwest Motorsport’s Social Media presence. The Social Media Manager must be able to support a full funnel marketing process both within Northwest Motorsport’s social ecosystem and throughout the company’s larger marketing and advertising initiatives.  

The Social Media Manager will report to the Marketing Manager and operate as part of a team comprised of content creators, copywriters, and administrative support.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure Social Media content strategy is executed according to an established plan. 
• Communicates clearly both verbally and non-verbally. Submits concise, complete, and clear legible records for both dealership and customer use. 
• Maintains assigned work area in an organized and clean manner. Exhibits pride in the work area and dealership. 
• Maintains personal cleanliness, grooming and uniform standards according to dealership guidelines. 
• Displays a high standard of ethical conduct. Refrains from unethical, dishonest and theft related behavior. Exhibits integrity, adhering to all company policies, including the corporations’ commitment of ZERO TOLERANCE toward discrimination and workplace violence. 
• Provides support for projects that arise outside of the normal day to day tasks. 
• Aligns behavior with the needs, priorities, and goals of the organization. Fosters commitment, pride, trust, and team spirit. 
• Utilizes supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner. Handles all toxic chemicals and hazardous waste according to the dealerships and current OSHA policies and procedures. 
• Reports immediately to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare or integrity of the dealership, its employees, or customers. 
• Follows department policies and procedures.  

What We’re Looking For: 

• Fluency with all social media platforms (Tiktok, Youtube, Facebook, IG, Pinterest) 
• Fluency with social media management software.
• Ability to create social media content with a mobile device 
• Ability to write simple copy and calls to action 
• Ability to pivot tasks and adjust approach as required 
• Ability and willingness to travel, including, but rarely requiring, single-overnight trips (no more than 4 expected annually) 
• Ability to maintain necessary social media communication on Saturdays as needed. 
• Ability to work up to 40  hours a week including a few hours on Saturdays. 
• Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft 365 
• Associates degree or higher 
• 2 years of PROVEN professional social media experience 
•  Automotive experience 
• An understanding of or experience with boosted posts and paid ads 
• Ability to build out ad audiences 
• Experience in the automotive industry 
• Advertising or marketing experience 
• Understanding of the marketing funnel 
• Adobe Creative Cloud 
• Blog and landing page design via Storyblok, Wix, Weebly or similar services
