Pay is $22 to $25 per hour (depending on experience).
The Body Shop Polisher opportunity has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $22.00 and $25.00.

Job Description
- Perform auto body buffing and polishing to restore vehicles' exterior finish to its original luster.
- Use specialized tools and equipment to carefully remove imperfections, scratches, and blemishes from the vehicle's surface.
- Ensure all surfaces are properly prepared for buffing by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required.
- Apply appropriate compounds and polishes to achieve a smooth, glossy finish on various types of vehicle surfaces.
- Inspect and assess the condition of vehicles to determine the extent of buffing required.
- Match factory paint textures and remove imperfections in painted panels.
- Collaborate with the team of painters and estimators to ensure timely completion of projects and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to protect yourself, team members, and the vehicles in the work area.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, including the proper storage and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including detailing any issues or challenges encountered during the buffing process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and advancements in auto body buffing to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
- Previous experience in auto body buffing or related field is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and address imperfections effectively.
- Familiarity with various buffing tools, equipment, and products used in automotive refinishing.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work responsibly around hazardous materials.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
