Job Description

EchoPark Automotive is looking for an Assistant Recon Manager to join our team at our dealership in Thornton, CO. The Assistant Recon Coach is responsible for delivering an outstanding employment experience - coaching, assisting, and supporting the reconditioning teammates to perform their tasks to the best of their abilities. Our Assistant Recon Coach's priority is to support their teams in delivering vehicles reconditioned within our quality and time standards. Our business model requires complete accounting of the internal and sublet repairs performed on the vehicles so proper RO management is a must. To build the brand, the Assistant Recon Coach champions our business model and embodies the vision to be among the greatest retailers in the country. To manage the business, the Assistant Recon Coach is accountable for achieving the desired targets for volume, quality and time standards, guest satisfaction, profitability, market share, and brand identity.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintain stocking levels
  • Provide inventory fulfillment to outlying stores
  • Trigger and execute arbitration and transportation claims
  • Manage wholesale units to include a weekly log for visibility
  • Provide feedback and analysis to purchasing team
  • Conduct lot merchandising
  • Deliver ongoing quality assurance for on-lot vehicles
  • Reporting when needed and as appropriate

What We're Looking For:

  • Automotive industry experience
  • Have a general knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
  • Strong computer knowledge including spreadsheets, word processing, data entry, inventory systems
  • Strong math, analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow up consistently
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership of the details – large and small
  • Decision-making that demonstrates good judgment
