Salary: $120,000 - $250,000 / year Depending on Experience and Performance
(The Parts Manager Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Monthly Compensation of $5,720. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.)
Job Description
What You Will Do:
Oversee the Auto Parts operations for the dealership
Interact with the Service Technicians to coordinate parts for vehicle reconditioning
Order parts from suppliers based on the Reconditioning Department and Technicians' requests
Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed
Takes inventory and maintains records of parts received
Process parts warranties and parts returns as necessary
Maintain stocking levels
Provide inventory fulfillment to outlying stores
Trigger and execute arbitration and transportation claims
Manage wholesale units to include a weekly log for visibility
Deliver ongoing quality assurance for on-lot vehicles
Reporting when needed and as appropriate
What We're Looking For:
Automotive industry experience
Have a general knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
Strong computer knowledge, including spreadsheets, word processing, data entry, and inventory systems
Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills required
Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow up consistently
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to take ownership of the details, large and small
Decision-making that demonstrates good judgment
Qualifications:
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
- All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- Experience in an automotive parts department.
- Excellent communication and managerial skills.
- Some sales experience. ยท
