Salary: $120,000 - $250,000 / year Depending on Experience and Performance

(The Parts Manager Position  has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.  Wages include Monthly Compensation of  $5,720.  The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance.  The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.)

Job Description

What You Will Do: 

  • Oversee the Auto Parts operations for the dealership  

  • Interact with the Service Technicians to coordinate parts for vehicle reconditioning 

  • Order parts from suppliers based on the Reconditioning Department and Technicians' requests 

  • Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed 

  • Takes inventory and maintains records of parts received 

  • Process parts warranties and parts returns as necessary 

  • Maintain stocking levels 

  • Provide inventory fulfillment to outlying stores 

  • Trigger and execute arbitration and transportation claims 

  • Manage wholesale units to include a weekly log for visibility 

  • Deliver ongoing quality assurance for on-lot vehicles 

  • Reporting when needed and as appropriate

What We're Looking For: 

  • Automotive industry experience 

  • Have a general knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations 

  • Strong computer knowledge, including spreadsheets, word processing, data entry, and inventory systems 

  • Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills required 

  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow up consistently 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills 

  • Ability to take ownership of the details, large and small 

  • Decision-making that demonstrates good judgment 

 

Qualifications:

  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
  • All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license
  •   High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • One year of supervisory experience.
  • Experience in an automotive parts department.
  • Excellent communication and managerial skills.
  • Some sales experience. ยท
