Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Technician to join our service team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the automotive industry and eager to build a long-term career as a certified technician. As an Apprentice Technician, you will work alongside experienced professionals to develop your technical skills while assisting with vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Cadillac vehicles.
This position provides hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities for advancement within a premium automotive brand environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs
Perform basic services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
Learn to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Follow all safety procedures and dealership standards
Document work performed accurately and efficiently
Participate in manufacturer training programs as assigned
Communicate effectively with team members and service advisors
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a dealership or independent repair shop (internship or part-time).
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) student certifications or willingness to obtain.
- Enrollment in or completion of an automotive technology program.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and automotive systems.
- Strong interest in automotive repair and technology.
- Basic mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Required:
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
Our Service Bays are air conditioned!
Schedule:
- Full Time
- Monday through Saturday availability
- Sundays off
