Job Description
Job Summary:
The Used Car Lot Porter is responsible for maintaining the appearance and organization of the pre-owned vehicle inventory while supporting daily dealership operations.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring vehicles are customer-ready, properly staged, and safely moved to support the sales team and overall customer experience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Move, stage, and park vehicles to maintain an organized, customer-ready lot display.
- Assist with customer vehicle deliveries, including final staging and preparation.
- Transport vehicles between dealership locations or offsite storage as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the car lot, showroom entrances, and display areas.
- Install dealer tags, check fuel levels, and perform light detailing touch-ups as needed.
- Provide professional and courteous assistance to customers on the lot, directing them to appropriate sales staff.
- Follow all safety policies and immediately report any vehicle damage, incidents, or concerns to management.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to safely operate and maneuver vehicles in tight spaces.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move vehicles for extended periods of time.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining dealership presentation standards.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA.
- Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements, including drug testing, background check, and MVR.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a porter, lot attendant, or automotive dealership role.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle features and inventory organization practices.
Compensation (Hourly):
- $17.00 - 19.00 / hour
- Depending on experience and qualifications

- FULL TIME
- Sundays Always Off
- Saturday Availability Required
