Summary

The Porter supports both the Service and Sales departments by ensuring vehicles are properly moved, staged, cleaned, and prepared for customer delivery and lot presentation. This role plays a critical part in maintaining dealership flow, protecting vehicle appearance, and supporting the Car Cash operation by keeping inventory organized and customer-ready.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Move vehicles between service lanes, reconditioning, sales line, and display areas to support daily operations.
• Stage vehicles on the lot to ensure organized, customer-ready inventory presentation.
• Assist in cleaning and preparing vehicles for sale, delivery, and customer appointments.
• Support the Car Cash department by coordinating vehicle movement from service to sales line once ready.
• Greet and assist customers when necessary, directing them to appropriate team members.
• Maintain cleanliness of lot areas, drive lanes, and staging zones.
• Install dealer tags, ID tags, and protective coverings as required.
• Perform final walk-arounds to ensure vehicles are properly positioned and presentation-ready.
• Follow all safety policies and immediately report any vehicle damage or incidents to management.

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate and maneuver vehicles in tight spaces and high-traffic areas.
• High attention to detail in vehicle staging and presentation standards.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced dealership environment.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move vehicles for extended periods.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements, including background check, drug test, and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role or automotive industry is preferred
• Basic knowledge of vehicles is a plus

Compensation (Hourly):

• $15.00 / hour

Schedule:

• FULL TIME
• Sundays Always Off
• Saturday Availability Required
