Compensation:
- Performance-based earnings range: $95,000 -$150,000 / year
- Actual earnings depend on performance. High-performing sales professionals who consistently meet and exceed store and corporate goals often earn well above this range.
Job Description
The Body Shop/ Collision Manager oversees operations, drive profitability, and lead technical development within a busy collision center. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience managing dealer collision centers with high-volume throughput and a proven track record of operational excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of a high-volume collision center, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Hire, train, motivate, and monitor performance of collision department staff to build a strong, efficient team.
- Develop and implement efficient workflow processes, including scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring technician productivity.
- Oversee accurate estimating, parts ordering, sublet coordination, and timely repair completion.
- Monitor departmental KPIs and financial performance; proactively address variances to meet business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and hazardous materials handling.
- Lead ongoing technical and procedural training for staff; facilitate manufacturer and third-party training opportunities.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction through high-quality repairs and timely communication.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing and adherence to negotiated terms.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the collision and reconditioning operations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing a high-volume automotive dealer collision center.
- Ford brand experience a plus.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Solid understanding of collision center financials, KPIs, and operational benchmarks.
- Proficiency in managing sublet work, vendor partnerships, and parts operations.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Required:
- Must be authorized to work in the USA.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements including background check, MVR, and drug screening.
Compensation:
- Annual Salary: $95,000 - $150,000+
- Meeting and exceeding company goals.
