Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Parts Manager to lead our Grand Junction Volkswagen dealership's parts department. This role focuses on managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring top-tier customer service while supporting the dealership's overall success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels by ordering and stocking parts accurately and promptly.
- Supervise and train parts department staff to deliver excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with the service and sales departments to meet their parts needs effectively.
- Monitor and analyze parts sales performance, identifying opportunities for growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve profitability and reduce expenses.
- Ensure compliance with all dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any concerns related to parts availability or service.
- Prepare and manage department budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Promote Toyota OEM parts and accessories to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
- 3+ years of experience in a parts department, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
- Knowledge of automotive parts inventory management and ordering processes.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with dealership management software and computer applications.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of driving parts sales growth and department profitability.

*The Parts Manager Position has a pay scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Monthly Draw of $3,500 dollars per month. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of department sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit*
