Job Description
Summary
The Sales Porter will be responsible in maintaining the dealership’s appearance, assisting with vehicle movement, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greets all customers entering the sales area with a friendly and professional attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
- Organize multiple lots by make, model, and color.
- Arrange trades for trade walks, tagging keys, and programming keys.
- Ensure inventory has buyer's guides displayed on vehicle windows.
- Deliver and pick up vehicles from other dealerships and customers' residences.
- Assist delivery drivers in finding keys and vehicles.
- Rotate electric vehicles off and on chargers to ensure compliance.
- Assist with tagging vehicles with barcodes.
- Keep the dealership lot, driveways, and sidewalks clean, organized, and presentable.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Physically able to drive and move vehicles
- Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership’s professional appearance
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role or automotive industry is preferred
Compensation (Hourly):
- $16.00 + / hour
- Depending on experience and qualifications
Schedule:
- FULL TIME
- Sundays Always Off
- Saturday Availability Required
