Annual Pay Range:
$36,000 $60,000 depending on sales.
(The Parts Sales Associate Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Salary of $3,000 / month.)
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and internal customers, assisting with part selection, offering product information, and ensuring exposure to the full product line.
- Process customer orders efficiently, including pulling stock, arranging shipments, deliveries, or pick-ups, and managing "will call" and "back order" files.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by replenishing assigned areas daily, ordering out-of-stock parts, and participating in a Lost Sale Tracking program.
- Support service technicians by helping select parts for repairs and managing repair order documentation.
- Handle financial transactions accurately, including issuing credits, processing charge backs, and managing tax-exempt sales.
- Keep current on new products and participate in all available training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including counters and computer equipment.
- Operate company and customer vehicles as required, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- Report any accidents or safety concerns immediately to a manager or supervisor.
Candidates must possess and demonstrate the following critical qualifications:
- Exceptional literacy skills, with the ability to comprehend and interpret complex instructions and technical information accurately.
- A minimum of one year's substantive experience in an automotive parts department, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of industry practices and procedures.
- Proven track record of at least one year in sales, showcasing the ability to meet and exceed targets in a competitive environment.
- Impeccable personal presentation, befitting the professional standards of our organization.
- Advanced interpersonal skills, with the capacity to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously while maintaining the highest level of service.
- Commitment to adhering to our corporate dress code, including wearing the prescribed dealership uniform at all times when on duty.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States of America, with appropriate documentation.
- Unwavering dedication to maintaining a safe work environment and strict adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to successfully complete and pass all pre-employment screening processes, including but not limited to:
- Comprehensive background checks
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review
- Drug testing
- Credit report analysis
- Verification of a valid driver's license
