$20-$55/hr based upon your certifications and experience.

Job Description
The Automotive Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. S/he also will oversee the work of any apprentice technician assigned to him/her.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Road-test drive vehicles
- Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
- Communicate directly with Service Advisor to ensure customers are informed if any additional services are needed.
- Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Document work performed.
- Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
- Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Strong customer service skills - High CSI is a must
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Must be comfortable with pre-employment requirements, including: Drug testing, background check, and Motor Vehicle Report
Desired Qualifications:
- ASE or Manufacturer training
- Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems
- Previous experience at an an automotive dealership
