Job Description

Summary:

The Shipping & Receiving Parts Associate will manage the flow of parts and supplies in and out of the dealership, ensuring accuracy, organization, and clear communication with internal teams. This role is key to keeping the service and parts departments running smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments
  • Process outgoing shipments using proper procedures and labeling
  • Maintain accurate records in inventory systems
  • Communicate shipment status and updates to team members and managers
  • Keep the shipping/receiving area clean, organized, and safe
  • Track deliveries and follow up on delayed or missing items
  • Handle service rental car program as directed
  • Assist with department paperwork and internal correspondence
  • Support positive relationships between dealership, customers, and vendors
  • Follow all safety guidelines and immediately report incidents
  • Familiarity with safe material handling, basic inventory systems, and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in automotive shipping/receiving operations
  • Familiarity with dealership or parts department systems
