Job Description

Summary

The New Car Lot Porter will be responsible in maintaining the dealership’s appearance, assisting with vehicle movement, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Move, stage, and park new vehicles on the dealership lot to ensure an organized, customer-ready inventory display.
  • Assist with vehicle deliveries to customers, including final preparation and staging for presentation.
  • Transport new vehicles between dealership locations or to offsite storage as needed.
  • Keep the new car lot, showroom entrances, and display areas clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with customers on the lot, directing them to sales staff as needed.
  • Support the sales department with various tasks (e.g., installing dealer tags, checking fuel levels, light detailing touch-ups).
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any incidents to a manager or supervisor.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Physically able to drive and move vehicles
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership’s professional appearance
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or automotive industry is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of vehicles is a plus
