Job Description:

We are looking for an Service Advisor for our location in Spokane, Washington! The Service Advisor helps ensure the overall efficiency, work-flow, and reputation of our Service and Parts operations by providing administrative, clerical support, and automotive/parts knowledge for the Service Department. He or she helps optimize the quality, timeliness, and record keeping for the administrative duties associated with service employees and customers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Arranges service or repair and sets expectations for cost and completion
  • Order parts for service repairs and maintain parts inventory 
  • Locates accessories or parts and arranges for installation 
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories and promotions 
  • Ensures that required documentation is accurate, complete, and is in compliance with regulations and standards
  • Manages inbound phone inquiries and routes calls accordingly
  • Coordinates questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel
  • Provides administrative assistance as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred
  • One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred
  • Previous parts counter experience is a plus
  • Ordering, shipping, and receiving parts inventory experience preferred
  • General knowledge of inventory control
  • Strong telephone, internet, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the internet
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
  • Highly professional and dependable
