Job Description:
We are looking for an Service Advisor for our location in Spokane, Washington! The Service Advisor helps ensure the overall efficiency, work-flow, and reputation of our Service and Parts operations by providing administrative, clerical support, and automotive/parts knowledge for the Service Department. He or she helps optimize the quality, timeliness, and record keeping for the administrative duties associated with service employees and customers.
What You’ll Do:
- Arranges service or repair and sets expectations for cost and completion
- Order parts for service repairs and maintain parts inventory
- Locates accessories or parts and arranges for installation
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories and promotions
- Ensures that required documentation is accurate, complete, and is in compliance with regulations and standards
- Manages inbound phone inquiries and routes calls accordingly
- Coordinates questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel
- Provides administrative assistance as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred
- One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred
- Previous parts counter experience is a plus
- Ordering, shipping, and receiving parts inventory experience preferred
- General knowledge of inventory control
- Strong telephone, internet, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the internet
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
- Highly professional and dependable
