Job Description
EchoPark Automotive is hiring an Automotive Inventory Manager for our location in Cary, NC!
EchoPark Automotive is a preowned dealership brand which that excellent training, growth opportunity and a fun work environment. EchoPark Automotive is owned by Sonic Automotive, a Fortune 500 company (NYSE:SAH). The Inventory Manager will oversee the inventory process from start to finish by managing target quality and inventory levels.
Responsibilities:
- Provide inventory fulfillment to outlying stores
- Maintain stocking levels
- Trigger and execute arbitration and transportation claims
- Manage wholesale units to include weekly log for visibility
- Provide feedback and analysis to purchasing team
- Conduct lot merchandising
- Deliver ongoing quality assurance for on lot vehicles
- Reporting when needed and as appropriate
Preferred Qualifications:
- Automotive industry experience
- Strong computer knowledge including spreadsheets, word processing, data entry, inventory systems
- Strong math, analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow up consistently
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to take ownership of the details – large and small
- Decision making that demonstrates good judgment
- Have a general knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
