Job Description

The EchoPark Human Resources Manager is responsible for delivering an outstanding employment experience.    This position would be ideal for a strong HR professional looking to advance into a Market HR role.  The role will be responsible for managing the HR function for approximately 4 locations.
Duties:
  • Provide management oversight of HR policies and procedures
  • Support Area and on-site Management in achieving operational goals through effective HR practices.
  • Provide direction to recruiters for recruiting efforts in the market
  • Ensure compliance with FMLA and other applicable statutes and regulations related to HR. 
  • Keep management and staff advised of new regulations and company policies related to HR;
  • Participate in unemployment hearings  
  • Advise associates and management on the interpretation of policies, programs, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations; guide management in performance management and general HR issues.
  • Analyze and provide advice to supervisors and managers on methods and approaches to resolve associate work problems; as directed, conduct associate counseling and disciplinary procedures.
  • Administer the monthly employee survey process.
  • Coordinate monthly team building meetings
  • Track PTO
  • Monitor and correct time card records
  • Review payroll activity reports
  • Conduct new hire and benefits orientation


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of progressively responsible human resources experience
  • Occasional travel for in-service training and meetings
  • Proven track record of building positive relationships with managers.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Superior customer service and client relations skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • PHR Certification preferred.
