Purpose:

As a key member of the Financial Reporting Department, the Financial Reporting Administrator assists in planning, communicating, and managing the month-end financial close function, SOX compliance as well as store level reporting.  This position supports the financial reporting, tax and SOX department. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 

•         The essential functions of the Administrator position include communicating to the dealership group regarding the financial reporting schedule.

•         Coordinating the monthly loads of the general ledgers

•         Participating in the general ledger extraction and load process

•         Process and deliver reports to the dealerships and other parties within the Company

•         Process governmental census reports and Annual Reports to the states       

•         Provide general administrative support to the Financial Reporting, Tax and SOX Departments.

•         Provides backup relief to the office front desk.
 
Qualifications: 
 

•         A High School diploma

•         Good communication (both verbal and written) and teamwork skills, and ability to work independently

•         Ability to work odd hours as necessary relating to the close schedule

•         Hyperion knowledge a plus or any experience in an accounting/tax or financial reporting

•         The ability and desire to be a self-starter and follow through with assigned tasks within established timeframes with a minimum amount of supervision

•         Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and internet navigation. 

•         3 years’ experience in a professional office setting
 
Supervision Received: 
 

•         Work under the direct supervision of the Consolidations Manager
