Guest Experience Center / Brand Ambassador

Summary
The Brand Ambassador position is highly visible and accountable to deliver benchmark results across a multi-store business development center. The mission is to deliver an outstanding guest experience and accomplish sales objectives set forth in the daily, weekly and monthly Guest Experience Center benchmarks. The Brand Ambassador will “Own” Guest Experience Center sales production and KPI attainment for all brand specific retail locations. You must possess the mindset of a General Manager and be in relentless pursuit of perfect execution surrounding sales attainment, profitability and customer satisfaction. You are expected to achieve and maintain the following objectives:


Essential Functions
1.    Protect the Brand by focusing on the guest experience and treating our associates with the same respect as we show our guests.
2.    Train, Coach and Motivate your Training Manager(s) and Guest Experience Agents to the One Sonic One Experience sales process standards.  Keep associates informed of unit goals, F&I attainment and CSI components of your supported dealerships.
3.    Oversee the Operational and Financial Performance of the supported dealership(s) on an annual, 90-day, monthly, weekly, and daily basis.  Establish, implement, and enforce systems and procedures for attaining the objectives in the departmental Operational and Financial “Plan”. 100% execution is required, ensuring that every effort is made to maximize every new and used vehicle sales opportunity, and consistently achieve our budgeted PRU, Finance%, Reserve, VSA%, PPC and CIT goals.
4.    Responsible for Guest Experience Center performance budgeting.
5.    Responsible for brand profitability through Guest Experience Center KPI production and P&L statement.
6.    Manage Customer Data by ensuring GEC agents are entering data into Sonic business applications with 100% accuracy. Ensure data concerns are addressed in a timely manner and provide feedback when necessary.
7.    Uphold the 4 Brand Ambassador Commitments:
                     I.        All managers must arrive 30 minutes prior to your team arriving. Brand Ambassadors must be a student of their numbers and prepare for the day, prior to your team arriving to ensure success.
                   II.        Team meetings must occur every day. Team meetings should be scheduled for 30 minutes when your team arrives. You will communicate a recap of the team meeting to the Director of the GEC every day.
                 III.        Follow up with Training Managers, Quality Analysts and GEC agents throughout the day. As a Brand Ambassador, you will hold your team members accountable, keep them motivated and commit to coaching and training daily.
                  IV.        Recap the day with each team member. Before a GEC agent leaves work, you must recap the day and ensure all team member responsibilities have been fulfilled.
8.    Maintain 100% compliance with all required Sonic University, OEM manufacture, and Playbook training.
9.    Maintain the highest ethical behavior at all times. Sonic believes taking the ethical highroad is the cornerstone of providing the very best experience for our guests, our associates, and the communities we serve.
10. Arrive on time to work daily and work the schedule that is provided.  Vacations and additional time-off require notice and approval in writing by National Director of Traffic Management.


Qualifications
High school [or college] diploma or the equivalent.  Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions and information.  Professional personal appearance.  Excellent communication skills.  Ability to meet company’s production and quality standards.
  • Must be legally and technically able to safely operate Company and customer-owned vehicles.
  • Must be insurable by Company insurance carrier.
  • Minimum two years of automotive sales experience.
  • Minimum one year in a dealership sales management position.
  • Minimum one year in dealership F&I experience
  • Highly skilled at leading meetings, motivating associates and sales training.
  • Excellent communication skills. Excellent managerial skills.
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.
  • Some travel will be required to retain OEM certification and brand aptitude.


Working Conditions

Will spend time sitting (sometimes for prolonged periods), standing and walking.  Evening, holiday and weekend work hours will be required.
