Job Description

EchoPark Automotive is looking for a Reconditioning Coach at our location in Thornton, Colorado.  The Reconditioning Coach at EchoPark Automotive is responsible for ensuring all vehicles meet our brand promise for quality and are presented for sale in a cost effective and timely way. The Recon Coach leads all aspects of the vehicle reconditioning operation at one or more assigned locations and is responsible for developing and managing teammates, processes, systems and vendors at the reconditioning center. As a senior leader the Recon Coach champions our brand promise, culture and values and is a key contributor to EchoPark’s vision to be among the greatest retailers in the country.  

As a Reconditioning Coach at EchoPark in Thornton, Colorado you will:

  • Take ownership of high-quality reconditioning standards that minimize comebacks. Conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality
  • Coordinate the reconditioning phase of the overall used vehicle supply-chain with buyer team and retail team
  • Manage sublet work relationships, holding vendors accountable for on-time delivery at negotiated rates
  • Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA's right-to-know
  • forecast goals and objectives for the department / individuals, and strive to meet them as a team leader
  • Consistently exceed associate's expectations
