Collision Parts Checker Purpose:
•   Any duties that are assigned by manager related to Parts in Body Shop
•   Assists customers with questions and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
•   Maintains cleanliness of the dealership
Collision Parts Checker Duties and Responsibilities:

•     Check in parts in body shop and match with what was ordered.

•    Make sure parts come undamaged and order is complete.

•    Make sure parts come undamaged and order is complete
•    Assure that the parts that are here are accurate.
•    Pull diagrams from manufacturers to help identify and order parts.
•    Pull parts from parts area and take to body men.
•    Go over parts received with body man and match for accuracy and completeness.
•     Assist with ordering parts when needed.

•    Return any parts received that are damaged and fill out appropriate paperwork.
•    Communicate with estimators and manager with any areas of opportunity to improve cycle time and productivity. 
•    Communicate with estimators and manager about parts issues daily.
•    Keep parts storage area neat, clean and organized.
•    Assist with discarding parts after repair and supplements are complete.
•      Take parts to total loss vehicles as needed.

•      Assist with daily inspections for fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, lifts and first aid kit.

•      Any other duties that are assigned by manager.
