Purpose:
The Fleet Manager insures that the dealership meets fleet unit sales quotas and its gross objectives on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. S/he will ensure that the fleet units sold produce sufficient gross to aid the dealership in reaching its profit objective on a monthly and yearly basis. She / he will accomplish these objectives through planning, organizing, coordinating, and measuring the activities of the Fleet Sales Departments.
Responsibilities: - Visit prospective customers to stimulate interest in establishing or expanding vehicle
purchase and leasing programs. - Recommend the type (and number, if a fleet) of vehicle needed to perform the job
satisfactorily with minimal expense. - Respond to all “Requests for Proposals” and bid to obtain the business.

satisfactorily with minimal expense. - Explain the leasing concept to customers and how they can benefit from the tax savings, reduced capital expenditures, etc.
- Compute leasing charges, based on such factors as length of contract, anticipated mileage, and applicable taxes.
- Prepare and send leasing contracts to the appropriate party.
- Assist the General Sales Manager with promoting a better understanding of the leasing concept among salespeople and other dealership employees to improve lease penetration.
- Assist in the development of advertising campaigns.
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
Revise administrative procedures to enhance the dealership’s lease renewal program. Qualifications: Fleet Sales Manager Qualifications: - Must be legally and technically able to safely operate Company and customer-owned vehicles.
- Must be insurable by Company insurance carrier.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Two years of automotive sales experience.
- One year in a dealership management position.
- Excellent communication skills. Excellent managerial skills.
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
- All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license
